Dear Mark: Wish you have a happy summer break with your family and friends. You haven't seen your family and your dear friends for a long time. You must miss them very much. I swich you can spend time in your home town very well. This summer break, I have many things to do. I will be one of a conductor in two different summer camps. One is for chindren. I have to talk with them in simple English. Those kids will learn how to act in English. I think this is a great chance and big challenge for me to get long with kids. It's difficult. I have no experience to get long with kids. I'm also afarid that I cannot do the job. After all, I am quiet in most of time. Anyway, I need to face it and try to conquer it. Good luck to me!
Furthermre, I am going to perform with the band of my senior highschool on 7/9. I haven't touch the instrument for a one year. I play the flute. Now, I have to practice everyday. When I play the flute with the band, I reminded those good days before. I love play instruments. I am always touched by playing instruments. Thanks God that I have the ability to creat beautiful melody in my own style.
Nevertheless, hope you can get your computer soon. (sometimes, we are angry at computer, but sometimes we cannot live without it. ha ha ) see you~
It is very nice to hear from you! I also wish you have a wonderful summer vacation. Currently, I am using public computers until I get a pc. Well, it sounds like you will have a very busy summer break. I am especially interested to hear about your job working with children. That will indeed be a great challenge for you but I know you will do a terrific job. As for you having doubts that you can't do the job, don't worry about that at all. Honestly, Inka, it is very normal to have such doubts about ourselves but the important thing is to simply face your fears(as you said) and do your best. (Our best is all we can ever do so try not to put too much pressure on yourself. You don't have to be perfect. Just try to have fun and you may find you really have a good time). Actually, this is a great opportunity for you. I wish you all the luck in the world!!
Also, good luck when performing with your highschool band. The flute is an instrument with a lovely sound and I can tell by what you've written that you are very happy to be playing music again. (If you ever play at NCUE, let me know and I will surely come and listen to you).
Well, Inka, it was great hearing from you and finding out how you are doing during these summer days. I look forward to seeing you again when school starts and chatting with you. Please write again to the blog when you have time so I can hear how you are doing. BTW, you are right about computers. I really, really miss having my own pc now. Bye,bye Inka. Mark
Dear Mark: Thanks for wrote back message to me. I want to tell you that today I teached a junior high student in the first grade. It was awful! Because I didn't prepare the teaching material very well, I didn't know what I was doing. I used to use the teaching material from the student's textbook. However, the student who I taught this time has no textbook becasue he hasn't entered high school of course has no book. I am not sure what I can teach him. I have consulted some of my classmates. They told me that I can teach the student how to pronunce vowels and consonants. What eles? Maybe I will read a short story for him everytime he comes, and I will teach him some words that are suitbale for his level to know. In fact, I remember that you have ever recorded a radio for many words. Originally, I tried to find out the website on your blog that you once put it on, but I was failed to find it out. Can you put that website for me again? I appreciate a lot. These days I got the grades of courses that I took this semester. I didn't satisfy some of them, yet I have no right to say. I know I won't got good grades on those subjects. I didn't do my best on every course. Especially, my writing class. I believe I can do better on my writing next semester, for I know writing is very important for the English major. It deserves me to work hard. Now, I make a plan that I want to memorize a book of Mark Twain. I found it's a good way to study English. For one thing, I memorize lots of good words and good sentences that I can use on my writing. Also, I have to konw how to pronunce every word so that I can practice my pronunciation. Furtheremore, I check my grammar as well. To memorize a sentence I have to know not only the meaning but the sentence structure of sentenses. It's a way to review my knowledge of grammar. Of course, I cannot forget to practice my speeking and listening. Now, my preformance is over; therefore, I pay more attention on teaching the student and improve my English abilities. I wish I can make good use of this summer break, and wish you too. bye bye, Inka
